Harrisonburg-Rockingham Jaycees
Goals for the Chapter:
- Create a framework and structure that will allow the club to get off to a good start. This initial momentum then needs to translate into positive energy that expands the chapter.
- Foster a club that allows young professionals that are civic minded to pursue their interests with individuals with common interests and goals; whether it be community or individual development.
- Recruit new membership and increase community visibility (30 members by summer/fall)
- Fundraise to the extent that the chapter is financially stable and able to increase community involvement in scope and size as finances allow.
- Have fun along the way with everything we do.
Management and Community Development Vice President - Wendy Young
Goals for the Chapter:
- To hold fundraisers for the chapter's ways and means.
- To develop a yearly plan for the chapter based on the results of the membership surveys.
- Make sure all chairpersons planning guide is complete and ready to submit to the Virginia Jaycees for chapter awards.
- Partner with area non-profit organizations to assist with their community events.
- Host a chapter presentation related to personal development at least quarterly
Membership Development Vice President - Summer Clayton
Goals for Membership:
- Increase chapter Membership to 30 members.
- Recruit a diverse member base, representative of our community.
- Partner with local businesses and community organizations in recruiting efforts.
- Keep membership dues straight.
