Below are the members who have been nominated and accepted the position.

Let me introduce the Harrisonburg/Rockingham Jaycees 2007 Officers.

President - Rob Lorshbaugh

 

 

Goals for the Chapter:

1. Create a framework and structure that will allow the club to get off to a good start. This initial momentum then needs to translate into positive energy that expands the chapter.
2. Foster a club that allows young professionals that are civic minded to pursue their interests with individuals with common interests and goals; whether it be community or individual development.
3. Recruit new membership and increase community visibility (30 members by summer/fall)
4. Fundraise to the extent that the chapter is financially stable and able to increase community involvement in scope and size as finances allow.
5. Have fun along the way with everything we do.

Management and Community Development Vice President - Wendy Young

Goals for the Chapter:

1. To hold fundraisers for the chapter's ways and means.
2. To develop a yearly plan for the chapter based on the results of the membership surveys.
3. Make sure all chairpersons planning guide is complete and ready to submit to the Virginia Jaycees for chapter awards.
4. Partner with area non-profit organizations to assist with their community events.
5. Host a chapter presentation related to personal development at least quarterly

Promotions and Communication Vice President - Katey Harbaugh

Goals for the chapter:

Membership Development Vice President - Summer Clayton 

Goals for Membership:

1. Increase chapter Membership to 30 members.
2. Recruit a diverse member base, representative of our community.
3. Partner with local businesses and community organizations in recruiting efforts.
4. Keep membership dues straight.

Treasurer Vice President- Kimberly Driskill

Goals:

1. Keep the books up-to-date

2. Quarterly statements of budget
   

3. Help with fundraising and recruiting
